A lighthouse is a tower, building, or other type of structure designed to emit light from a system of lamps and lenses or, in older times, from a fire, and used as an aid to navigation for maritime pilots at sea or on inland waterways. Here are the tallest ones.

10. Storozhenskiy Light 233 feet (71 m)

Storozhenskiy Light, also known as Storozhno Light, is an active lighthouse in Lake Ladoga, Russia. It is located on a headland on the eastern side of the lake, separating the Svirsky lip of the lake from the Volkhov Bay, at the village of Storozhno. At a height of 233 feet (71 m) it is the seventh tallest “traditional lighthouse” in the world, and the fourth talleststone lighthouse. It is a twin of the slightly shorter Osinovetsky Light.
