THIS genre of entertainment is beginning to catch up in the big cities and TV has done more than its bit to popularise it with the masses. Shows like The Great Laughter Challenge, and in the past, Movers and Shakers, have only contributed to the popularity of this emerging genre. The trend has caught on at both ends — with youth who want to crack up on stage, and also with the audience who want to be entertained. Yes, this is the business of stand-up comedy and it's all about making your audience laugh. However, stand-up comedy has traditionally been one of those job areas of show business where formal training plays a minimal part and hands-on experience counts for almost everything. Despite this, stand-up comedy very rarely can be taken as a full-time profession.

Chris “The Dutchess" Walton claims record for world's longest nails
Eighteen years of patience with lot of care and protection, Chris “The Dutchess" Walton have nails as long as nearly twenty feet. This forty-Five year old singer who hails from Las Vegas is now officially part of Guinness Book of World records, her right hand finger nails measures 9 feet and 7 inches and her left hand finger nails measures 10 feet 2 inches."It’s kind of like a body part that I was born with, now I don’t know what i would do without them", Chris “The Dutchess"Walton said in an interview in front of the New York Public Library. From driving a car, shopping and doing household chores the only thing that she finds hard with her 20 feet finger nails is dig her own pockets."Everything else I can do myself-driving, shopping, cleaning the house. Although when vacuum, the cord gets tangled in my fingers."
She furthers explains that she doesn’t engage herself in swimming, not because of her nails but due to her hair thing she keeps herself out from the pool.Chris"The Dutchess" Walton demonstrates using her knuckles to text with such fingernails. She is mother of 5 and grandmother of 3 did not intentionally grow her nails but it was rather an accident."I never set out to make it into Guinness. It just happened”, she further adds "One day I stopped cutting my nails. I liked the way they looked and they just kept growing."
