10. Storozhenskiy Light 233 feet (71 m)

Storozhenskiy Light, also known as Storozhno Light, is an active lighthouse in Lake Ladoga, Russia. It is located on a headland on the eastern side of the lake, separating the Svirsky lip of the lake from the Volkhov Bay, at the village of Storozhno. At a height of 233 feet (71 m) it is the seventh tallest “traditional lighthouse” in the world, and the fourth talleststone lighthouse. It is a twin of the slightly shorter Osinovetsky Light.

Baishamen Lighthouse, located in the province of Hainan, China, is the sixth tallest lighthouse in the world, and the second tallest in China. Rising from a 3-storey hexagonal base, this structure is 236 feet (72 m) tall. This active lighthouse has a focal plane of 256 feet (78 m) with a white flash every 6 seconds.

Mulantou Lighthouse, also known as the Hainan Head Light, located in the province of Hainan, China, is the fifth tallest lighthouse in the world, and the tallest in China. Built in 1995, this active lighthouse has a focal plane of 289 feet (88 m). It emits two white flashes every 15 seconds. The Mulantou Lighthouse is 237 feet (72 m) tall.

Lesnoy Mole Rear Range Light is an active lighthouse and range light in Saint Petersburg, Russia. It is located in a dockyard area on the waterfront and guides ships into the commercial harbor of Saint Petersburg. At a height of 239 feet (73 m) it is the fourth tallest “traditional lighthouse” in the world, the tallest in Russia, and the tallest range light in the world.

Yokohama Marine Tower is a 106 meter high (348 ft) lattice tower with an observation deck at a height of 100 meters in Yokohama, Japan. The light characteristic is marked by a flash every twenty seconds, whereby the light’s color is alternating red and green. Originally, at night, the tower shaft itself was lit green and red according to its markings, but now, after the reopening on May 2009, the lights are white.
