सूफी संतों की दरगाहों की जियारत को आने वाला हर जायरीन श्रद्धा के तौर पर सूफी संत की मजार पर मखमल की चादर और अकीदत के फूल पेश कर मन्नत मांगता है। क्यों पेश किए जाते हैं चादर और फूल, इसके बारे में जानें-

क्या होती है चादर

मखमल, सूती या साटन के हरे, लाल, पीले या नीले रंग के कपड़े की बनी होती है। 7 गज से लेकर 42 गज तक लंबी चादर आम तौर पर मजार शरीफ पर पेश की जाती है। इस चादर पर कुरान की आयात, पंजेतन पाक के नाम और मक्का मदीना व गरीब नवाज के दर के फोटो भी छपे होते हैं।

Extremely Rare ‘White’ Zebra

The Transit of Venus 06 June 2012

06 जून 2012 को अद्भुत खगोलीय घटना घटने जा रही है । इस दिन सूर्य बिम्ब के ऊपर से शुक्र का पारगमन होगा अर्थात् शुक्र सूर्यबिम्ब के ऊपर से गुजरता हुआ दिखाई देगा । इस घटना को ‘भेदयुति’ (Conjunction) भी कहा जाता है । इससे पूर्व यह घटना 08 जून 2004 को हुई थी । 2012 के पश्चात् यह घटना 11 दिसम्बर 2117 अर्थात् 105.5 वर्ष पश्चात् होगी । यह अद्भुत खगोलीय घटना एक शताब्दी में दो बार ही होती है ।
ग्रहों की कक्षाएँ एक दूसरे को जिन बिन्दुओं पर काटती हैं, उन बिन्दुओं पर यदि ग्रहों का योग होता हो, तब पारगमन और ग्रहण जैसी घटनाएँ दृष्टिगोचर होती हैं । यद्यपि ये घटनाएँ तकनीकी दृष्टि से लगभग एक जैसी हैं, परन्तु द्रष्टा (अर्थात् देखने वाला Observer) के आधार पर इनमें भिन्नता होती है । यदि एक ग्रह के द्वारा दूसरे ग्रह का बिम्ब (Disc) पूर्णतः या आंशिक रुप से ढँक लिया जाता है, तब यह घटना ‘ग्रहण’ (Eclipse) कहलाती है और यदि एक ग्रह का बिम्ब तुलनात्मक रुप से इतना बड़ा हो कि दूसरे ग्रह के बिम्ब से वह आंशिक या पूर्णतः ढँका न जा सके, तो वह दूसरे ग्रह के बिम्ब के ऊपर से एक बिन्दु के रुप में चलता हुआ दिखाई देता है । यह घटना ‘पारगमन’ (Transit) कहलाती है । सूर्य बिम्ब के ऊपर से चन्द्रबिम्ब का गुजरना ‘ग्रहण’ कहलाता है, क्योंकि उस दौरान चन्द्रबिम्ब सूर्यबिम्ब के एक बड़े हिस्से को ढँकता है । दूसरी ओर, सूर्य बिम्ब के ऊपर से शुक्र या बुध का गुजरना ‘पारगमन’ कहलाता है, क्योंकि उस दौरान शुक्रबिम्ब या बुधबिम्ब सूर्यबिम्ब के एक बड़े हिस्से को ढँकता नहीं है, वरन् बिन्दु के समान गुजरता हुआ दिखाई देता है ।
पृथ्वी के सन्दर्भ में सूर्यबिम्ब के ऊपर से पारगमन की घटना अन्तःकक्षा वाले ग्रह (Inferior or Inner Planets) की ही सम्भव है । बुध एवं शुक्र अन्तःकक्षा वाले ग्रह हैं । इसलिए इनका ही पारगमन होता है ।

धर्मराज युधिष्ठिर ने पूछाः पितामह ! किस उपाय से मनुष्य अपने सम्पूर्ण आयुष्य तक जीवित रहता है ? क्या वजह है कि उसकी आयु कम हो जाती है ? मनुष्य मन, वाणी अथवा शरीर के द्वारा किन साधनों का आश्रय ले, जिससे उसका भला हो ?

      भीष्मजी बोलेः युधिष्ठिर ! सदाचार से मनुष्य को आयु, लक्ष्मी तथा इस लोक और परलोक में कीर्ति की प्राप्ति होती है। दुराचारी मनुष्य इस संसार में बड़ी आयु नहीं पाता, अतः मनुष्य यदि अपना कल्याण करना चाहता हो तो उसे सदाचार का पालन करना चाहिए। कितना ही बड़ा पापी क्यों ने हो, सदाचार उसकी बुरी प्रवृत्तियों को दबा देता है। सदाचार धर्मनिष्ठ तथा सच्चरित्रवान पुरुषों का लक्षण है।

      सदाचार  ही कल्याण का जनक और कीर्ति को बढ़ाने वाला है, उसी से आयु की वृद्धि होती है और वही बुरे लक्षणों को नाश  करता है। सम्पूर्ण आगमों  में सदाचार ही श्रेष्ठ  बतलाया गया है। सदाचार से धर्म उत्पन्न होता है और धर्म के प्रभाव से आयु की वृद्धि होती है।

      जो  मनुष्य धर्म का आचरण करते हैं  और लोक कल्याणकारी कार्य  में लगे रहते हैं, उनके दर्शन  न हुए हों तो भी केवल नाम  सुनकर मानव-समुदाय उनसे प्रेम  करने लगता है। जो मनुष्य नास्तिक, क्रियाहीन, गुरु और शास्त्र की आज्ञा का उल्लंघन करने वाले, धर्म को न जानने वाले, दुराचारी, शीलहीन, धर्म की मर्यादा को भंग करने वाले तथा दूसरे वर्ण की स्त्रियों से सम्पर्क रखने वाले हैं, वे इस लोक में अल्पायु होते हैं और मरने के बाद नरक में पड़ते हैं। जो सदैव अशुद्ध व चंचल रहता है, नख चबाता है, उसी दीर्घायु प्राप्त नहीं होती। ईर्ष्या करने से आयु क्षीण होती है। सूर्योदय के समय और दिन में सोने से आयु क्षीण होती है। जो सदाचारी, श्रद्धालु, ईर्ष्यारहित, क्रोधहीन, सत्यवादी, हिंसा न करने वाला, दोषदृष्टि से रहित और कपटशून्य है, उसे दीर्घायु प्राप्त होती है।

The annular eclipse, in which the moon passes in front of the sun leaving only a golden ring around its edges, created incredible visual effects around the world - and photographers let their technical imaginations run wild with 'trick' shots such as this heart-shaped sun.

The 'classic' view of an annular eclipse is as a burning ring. In the U.S., viewing parties were held at observatories in Reno, Nevada, and Oakland, California, and elsewhere. In some areas, special camera filters for taking photographs have been sold out for weeks in anticipation of the big event.
