20 Benefits Of Drinking Green Tea Regularly

Green Tea is one of the Marvelous Drink. Currently, tea in the form of green or black tea, next to water, is the most widely consumed beverage in the world. According to Chinese legends, tea was discovered by the Emperor Shen Nong in about 2700 BC, when a gust of wind blew tea leaves into a kettle of boiling water.

Teas contain polyphenols which act as antioxidants and exhibit numerous biochemical activities. Tea polyphenols consist mostly of catechins, the most powerful of which is epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) which is found only in green tea. Since ancient times green tea has been considered a health-promoting beverage and currently researchers find more convincing proof of its healing qualities.

Creative Dad Takes Crazy Photos Of Daughters

Creative Dad Takes Crazy Photos Of Daughters

If you are tired of posed, stiff and cheesy family portraits, then take a look at
these incredibly creative pictures taken by Jason Lee.

Jason who is a wedding photographer started taking photos of his two little daughters back in 2006
when his mom was diagnosed with non-Hodgkins lymphoma. The girls were constantly sick, with colds
and coughs so he couldn’t always bring them to visit their grandmother.
Jason wanted her to be able to see her granddaughters without catching their kid germs so he started a blog
where his mom could see what was going on in their lives.

Most of the ideas come from his daughters – eight-year-old Kristin and five-year-old Kayla.
Jason says that they are never-ending source of ideas.

It is good to know!!!

Q: Why do men's clothes have buttons on the right while women's clothes have buttons on the left?
A: When buttons were invented, they were very expensive and worn primarily by the rich. Since most people are right-handed, it is easier to push buttons on the right through holes on the left. Because wealthy women were dressed by maids, dressmakers put the buttons on the maid's right!  And that's where women's buttons have remained since.

Santhal Dancers

Santhal is one of the most abundantly found tribes in India. A major chunk of this tribe can be found in West Bengal and Jharkhand. Santhal tribe has a rich cultural lineage and immense solidarity. Its members are basically the devotees of 'Thakurji', the deity they believe created this world. They move to the beats of music, to celebrate the glory of nature, raise a message and offer prayers to the presiding deity of their tribe, through a dance known as Santhal dance.

The Santhal dance is considered to be one of the best tribal folk dances of India, which offers immense vibrancy and cheerfulness. This dance is supposed to be a replica of the folk dance of Madhya Pradesh. Santhal dance is generally performed by both the men and women of the Santhali tribe. It often covers issues related to gender and land rights.

While performing, the male Santhali dancers are dressed up in dhoti and make use accessories, like turban, tree leaves, flowers and bushes, during the dance. The dance is basically performed on special occasions. During the spring festival, it is performed to the glory of nature. Santhali dance is accompanied with folk music instruments like flutes, pipes, drums and cymbals.

battle of the beards

here can be few more obvious expressions of distinguished masculinity than a full, furry moustache.
These remarkable examples of facial topiary were pictured at a competition for best moustache in Brussels, Belgium, earlier today.
Proudly whiskered gentleman from all over the region for the event, which was won by a man identified only as Jef.
His gravity defying facial follicles stretched the usual definition of moustache, incorporating as it did much of the beard from his cheeks as well.

10 Amazing Water Towns & Villages

Water villages are settlements that are usually built on the water. Houses often float on the water or are located on stilts and rarely on small islands. This is a list of water villages, which are becoming increasingly popular tourist destinations.

01. Ko Panyi, Thailand
Ko Panyi is a fishing village in Phang Nga Province, Thailand notable for being built on stilts by Indonesian fishermen. The population consists of roughly 200 families or between 1,500 and 2,000 people descended from 2 seafaring Muslim families from Java.
The village has a Muslim school which is attended by both males and females in the mornings. Despite the recent rise in tourism, life in Ko Panyi is still primarily based around the fishing industry as tourists only visit in significant numbers during the dry season. The village includes a floating soccer field. Inspired by the 1986 FIFA World Cup, children built the pitch from old scraps of wood and fishing rafts. Google map.

Beards

As a 22 year old male with the ability to grow nothing more than a neck beard I thank today’s infographic for giving me hope of being financially successful. As we all know manliness is measured by the facial hair on one’s face and today’s infographic A PhD in Facial Hair does a good job of outlining that FACT. Many people may already know dihydrotestosterone is the chemical responsible for both hair growth and balding, but did you know its levels vary by season? So don’t be surprised when you see bushier beards in the Summer.
Besides their obvious manliness factor, beards apparently may have served some evolutionary advantage. Providing ancient man with warmth, intimidation through a stronger jaw line, and protection- cushioning blows to the face. Although beards were/are considered manly one of the greatest conquerors of all time, Alexander the Great, required that his soldiers be clean shaven. So as to avoid any pulling the enemy army might be inclined to do.
Fellow unbearded men do not fear, according to today’s infographic on average we are found 2/3 more attractive than men with beards. Although clean shaven men tend to actually be more successful those with beards are seen as being of higher status, older, more-respected, and powerful. Women I’m sorry this is one sided, but it’s still interesting. Enjoy and share! [via]
